The first Anglican service in the district was held on 26/12/1931 in the Avoca Guest House, with other services recorded as being held in private homes in the early 1940s. The former St David's Anglican Church, The Round Drive, near Avoca Beach Primary School was dedicated on 25/1/1942. The building was later moved to Yodalla Place, Avoca Beach and re-dedicated on 10/12/1967. The final service in St David's was held on 17/5/2015, and it was de-consecrated on 15/11/2015.
