The former Uniting Church Tongan Parish, Redfern has closed, and the property was sold in 2017.  The church building was originally erected for St Luke's Presbyterian Church about 1872. After becoming part of the Uniting Church in 1977, the building was used by Hephzibah Congregation 118 Regent Street, Redfern, and subsequently by a Tongan congregation, for more than twenty years, before its closure and sale.
