Comments
The former St Paul's Anglican Church, Hay, is no longer used. The current church building was erected in 1884/5, replacing an earlier one erected in 1868. Until 1984 it held Pro-Cathedral status. It is now in a poor state of repair and the congregation or diocese cannot afford the cost of the repairs. A report in The Riverine Grazier, 8/8/2018 stated a proposal to demolish the church was under consideration. No other details are known. Note: The St Paul's Anglican Church, Hay building was deconsecrated on 13/6/2020, and the congregation will now join in co-operation with the Hay Uniting Church. The property was sold in 2020.
