Comments
The former Denistone East Uniting Church property is now privately owned. It was sold in January 2020. The original Denistone East Methodist Church was founded about 1953, and the church building erected in what was then a cow paddock surronunded by orchards. At its peak it reportedly had a Sunday School of about 300 children.
The property was at one stage shared with a Korean congregation of the Sydney Lord's Mind Presbyterian Church. In 2010 English services were cancelled and Korean only services were held. When the Korean congregation moved to other premises, the decision was made to sell the property.
