The Duri Uniting Church closed many years ago (1992?), and the property has been sold. The first service in the church building was held on 27/12/1911, and the building was officially opened by the Rev James Colwell on 31/1/19121. The first Methodist service in the district was held in 1886, in the Union Church building, in Dungowan Road about 2 miles from Duri. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 12/2/2025
