The Gunning Uning Church is part of the Canberra Region Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The church functions as part of the Goulburn District Uniting Church Parish including churches in Goulburn, Marulan, Big Hill, Gunning/Dalton, Greendale, Collector and Gundaroo. The first church building was erected in 1849 for the Wesleyan Methodists, and was replaced by the current building in 1876. The church building was opened by the Rev George Hurst from Sydney.
