A plaque in regard to the manse foundation stone records: The foundation stone of - the first manse on this - site was relaid to celebrate - the Centenary of St Andrew's - 30th April 1978 by Dudley Body. Foundation stone for the first manse records: This stone was laid by - P C Campbell Esq - Feb 19 1906 - Minister Rev J K Miller. A plaque records: The Manse - dedicated to the Glory of God - and opened on 20th June 1953. A foundation stone for the hall records: St Andrew's Presbyterian Church - War Memorial Hall - This building is erected to the Glory of God, - in honour of the members and adherents of this - charge who served in the Great War (1914~1918), - and in memory of those of their number who fell - "Their name liveth for evermore." - This foundation stone was laid on October 2nd 1920. - by the - Right Rev James Gibson MA - Moderator~ General of the Presbyterian Church - of Australia - Rev A M Stevenson MC Minister. The church at Inverell was first held in the home of Mr & Mrs Colin Ross until 1857 when a timber church building was erected on the banks of the Macintyre River. The current Inverell Presbyterian Church building was opened in May 1878.
