The former All Saints Anglican Church, Kerrs Creek was deconsecrated on 7/12/2019 by Archdeacon, The Venerable Joy Harris. It would appear that this church replaced an earlier one, the last service in which was held on 13/9/1927, conducted by the Rev A G Powell. See Wellington Times (NSW: 1899-1954) Mon 12 Sep 1927, page 5.
As a matter of interest, set out below is the actual deconsecration declaration for All Saints, Kerrs Creek: 'In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. On the 18th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifty-nine by the Right Reverend Kenneth Leslie, Bishop of Bathurst, the church building that stands on this site was duly dedicated and consecrated in honour of and in the name of All Saints. The Sentence of Consecration has been in effect until this present date. I, Mark Norman Calder, Bishop of Bathurst, do hereby revoke the said Sentence issued by the Right Reverend Kenneth Leslie, Bishop of Bathurst and do remit this building and all objects remaining in it, for any lawful and reputable use, according to the laws of this land. This church land, now having been declared deconsecrated and secularied, I declare it to be no longer suject to the canonical jurisdiction of the Bishop of Bathurst. This Declaration, which is to be publicly proclaimed before witnesses gathered here, is given under my hand and seal, in the City of Bathurst, in the State of New South Wales and Diocese of Bathurst, on this 7th day of December in the year of our Lord two thousand and nineteen Mark Calder, Bishop of the Diocese of Bathurst. Officiating Priest, Archdeacon, the Venerable Joy Harris."
More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 8/4/2018 & 26/2/2019.
