The former Helensburg Uniting Church no longer conducts regular worship services. The building is now used by the Bushland Chapel as a centre dedicated to developing community practices. The chapel is part of the Uniting Church, under special administrative arrangements with the George's River Presbytery.

The building is now also used by the Helensburg Baptist Church for its worship services.
