The St Gregory's Catholic Church, Kurrajong was opened on 11/12/1904 by Archbishop Kelly.
(Windsor & Richmond Gazette - 17 December 1904) "St. Gregory's Church, Kurrajong Opened and Blessed by the Archbishop, His Eminence Cardinal Moran was to have blessed and dedicated to St. Gregory the new R.C. Church at Kurrajong on Sunday last; but owing to illness this distinguished prelate was unable to come, and deputed His Grace Archbishop Kelly to perform the ceremony. The new Kurrajong Church has been built just in front of the old building, the contractor being Mr. Chambers, of Sydney. It is capable of seating a couple of hundred people, and is a faithfully built and substantial structure of brick, with iron roof."
The original church building, now the hall was erected about 1840. A cemetery adjoins the church, and was used from about 1845 to 2000.
