St Therese's Catholic Church

The St Therese's Catholic Church, Humula is part of the Parish of Tarcutta and the Diocese of Wagga Wagga. The church building was erected/opened about 1937 and celebrated its 75th anniversary in September 2012, attended by Bishop Hanna. Prior the the erection of the present church building Mass was celebrated in the local School of Arts. For the 50th anniversary in 1988, Mr Ves Sykes built the new church gates in memory of his parents, Kathleen and George Sykes. On 16/9/1994, the newly ordained Humula son, Fr Paddy Sykes celebrated his first Mass in this church. No other details are known.
