The former St John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Lucknow is now closed, and the property sold in November 2020. It was erected about 1873, and replaced a bark hut. It and the new church building were also used by the Wesleyans until their church building was erected about 1886. St John's was extended and also consecrated in 1896. The church celebrated its 140th anniversary in October 2013. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 5/4/2020 & 12/5/2021.
