The Sts Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church, Lidcombe property was purchased from another denomination at the end of 1981, and repurposed to meet the needs of this community. It was a great step forward to solidify their need for a spiritual and cultural centre. This need had been identified from the arrival of the first migrants about 1945.
