The present Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mona Vale was the first church built in Keenan Street, and was opened in 1991. The original church building, a small wooden structure, was erected in Golf Avenue in 1889. It was replaced in 1940 at the same site, but this building was damaged by fire in 1978 and repaired. This property was sold about 1991 with the move to Kennan Street1. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 28/10/2020.
