Comments
The former St Francis' Anglican Church, Marrar is now closed, and the property was sold about 2011. Anglican services from 1912 were held in the Methodist Church building, which had opened in 1910. This arrangement continued until 1940, when the the growing congregation required the Anglicans to seek its own church building. The former Baptist Church building, erected in Webb Street, in 1912, but no longer in use was acquired and became St Francis' Anglican Church. It was dedicated and opened on 5/10/19401, and continued in use until the church was closed and the building sold.
