The Leeton Uniting Church is part of the Presbytery of Riverina and the Synod of NSW & ACT. The Methodist Church in Leeton began in 1912 with the arrival of Home Missioner, Mr R J Lee who pitched his tent (literally) on the site of the present parsonage. The first church building was opened on 9/4/1913 by the Rev W Woolls Rutledge. The present church building was opened on 22/9/1937 by Rev Harold Doust, Chairman of Riverina Synod District1.
