The former St John's1 Anglican Church, Mount Adrah was part of the Parish of Adelong and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. It is now closed, and the property is privately owned (exact address unknown). Anglican services in the district are believed to have been held from about 1871. The date of the original church building is not known (some records suggest about 1900), and it is understood to have burnt down in the 1920s. The present building dates from this time, holding its final service about 1990. The church had served the local community for over 100 years. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 11/3/2022.
Note 1: Some debate as to whether it was dedicated as St John's or St Paul's.
