The St John's Anglican Church, Numeralla is part of the Parish of Cooma and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. "The first church was built on land was dedicated on 3 May 1865. It was built of packing cases given by Denny Roche, the store keeper in 1872. In 1898 a church school, St Aiden’s was opened believed to be on the block behind the existing church." (The Manaro Mercury - 21 November 1898) "NUMERALLA. SCHOOL CHURCH. (From our Correspondent). This little church, which has been recently erected at Numeralla, was opened on Wednesday, the 16th inst., by the Rev. R. J. Ross Edwards, of Cooma, Mr. L F. Woolrych being also present."
