The St Andrew's Uniting Church, Wentworth is part of the Presbytery of North East Victoria and the Synod of Vic & Tas. Land for a Presbyterian Church building was dedicated about 1863, but it was not erected until about 1881/3. In 1977 it became part of the Uniting Church. A hall that was previously part of the 1881 Methodist Church in Sandwych St, was moved to this location after the formation of the Uniting Church and demolition of the old Methodist Church. A Presbyterian manse was built earlier in 1859, but was destroyed by fire. The original chimney-stack was converted to a sundial and placed in the church grounds. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 30/8/2021.
