In memory of our fallen soldiers - This foundation stone - of the church of St Andrew - was laid on 31st October 1931 - by the Ven Joseph Pike - Archdeacon of Goulburn. The church holds a gold-coloured altar cross, dedicated to the fallen from the First World War. The base of the cross bears the engraved inscription: To the Honour and Glory of God - In Commemoration of Peace - In 1919 and grateful rememberance of fallen soldiers sons of the Church - 1914 ~ 1919.
