Casuarina Uniting Church

The Casuarina Uniting Church, Wanguri is part of the Pilgrim Presbytery of Northern Territory and the Uniting Church Northern Synod. The church had its beginnings in 1976, when the Nightcliff United Church made a decision to plant a new church in Casuarina, which together with Nightcliff became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. Services in the early years were held in various locations, with land acquired in 1983, and the present church building being opened on 21/2/1987; although the first service in the building was held on 24/12/1886.
