The Babinda Presbyterian Church functions as part of the Gordonvale-Babinda Presbyterian Church, and is part of the Presbytery of North Queensland and the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. The first church building was opened by the Rev S Mitchell on 5/11/1916, but was destroyed in a cyclone in March 1918. A replacement building was opened on 16/3/1919 by the Rev Fixter.
