Comments
The former St Augustine's Anglican Church, Mary Kathleen, Cloncurry site was part of the Diocese of North Queensland. The church was established here, and a building erected about 1957, with the help of Rio Tinto, near the site of its now abandoned Mary Kathleen uranium mine. After the mine closed about 1982/4, the church and the town were both abandoned. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 12/7/2024.
