The church began in 1975 when a few families from Malaysia began meeting in a home. The church has continued to grow while continuing to serve students from the university. It now has 4 autonomous congregations. The English speaking congegation adopted the current name in 2015, changing from Chinese Christian Church. The present building was acquired in May 2006.
