The St Mark’s Anglican Church, Eidsvold, Queensland was designed by Helmut Breckwoldt, who also built the church with his colleage Hein Cassuben in 1960. Originally Helmut designed and built the smaller Mulgildie church, and when the minister from Eidsvold visited, he decided they would like one the same only larger. Helmut Breckwoldt 1924 - 1998, was a German immigrant, trained in Drafting and Building and renowned Watercolour Artist in Central Queensland. The church is still in use. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 31/7/2017.
Additional information on the designer and builder provided by J C Breckwoldt in July 2019.
