This former Dalveen Uniting Church building is now privately owned.
After Union, 22/6/1977, services were alternated between this church and the ex Methodist Church at The Summit. The church building was decommissioned on 23/6/2012 by the minister at the time, Pastor Dudley Abraham.
The church was established in 1955 as a community effort. The land was donated by P Cameron, timber by Cliff and Stan Pidgeon, and construction by nine local volunteers. The historic bell, was also donated by the Pidgeon's, who had used it to toll the beginning and end of shifts at their brickworks. The bell was presented back to the community at the conclusion of the final service.
More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 1/10/2017.
