Comments
The old building was erected in 1873/74 and was the first Anglican Church in Cleveland. It was consecrated on 25/1/1876. Before the church was built, services were held in the old Cleveland Court House and later the Grandview Hotel. The first resident minister was appointed in 1877. The building was extended in 1924.
A new church building was erected in 1980 and stands alongside the original building. More historical information/photographs of the churches/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 14/12/2017.
The third photograph was taken about 1871. It was of the Sunday School Class in front of the old Cleveland Court House, where the class was held.
