The former Trinity Lutheran Church, Koojarewon, Highfields closed about 1917, and the property was sold. The church building was opened on 5/8/1900, with the consecration  service conducted by the Rev E Becker, Brisbane, President of the United German and Scandinavian Lutheran Synod. This church is believed to have been erected due to a rift in the National Church, and some of the congregation separating from Christ Church Lutheran Church, Highfields. The church building was located directly opposite the Highfields State School, on land owned by the Rev  F W Burghardt, the Pastor of the church. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Not sure if the  photograph is of the old Trinuity Church - information/correction invited.
