Holy Trinity Anglican parish was formed in 1856. The first church, a small stone building, was erected on the current site in 1857.
With a growing congregation a larger church was required and the present church was built in 1877. It was opened on 21/7/1877 by the Archbishop of Brisbane, Matthew Hale. Since then it has been extended and refurbished.
The original, 1857 church building was demolished in 1891 to allow construction of a new brick Sunday School/Hall. It is still in use today.
More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 18/3/2017.
