The St Paul's Anglican Church, Jandowae is part of the Parish of Jandowae and the Anglican Church Southern Queensland. "New Church at Jandowae. On Sunday [17/3/1917] the new Church of England - St Paul's - was opened at Jandowae by Archdeacon Rivers. A very large number of visitors from the whole of the surrounding district was present, including a good many from Dalby. The Archdeacon motored out with the Rev and Mrs B P Walker, of Dalby, in Mr C V Field's car. The ceremony took place in the morning, and was followed by the morning service and the Sacrament, after which luncheon was served...1". The first Anglican services in the district began about 1908, through the offices of the Anglican Bush Brothers. An early fund raising event was held in December 1913 towards the cost of a permanent church building. This church building was opened on 18/3/1917 by Archdeacon Rivers. It was replaced by the present building which was dedicated about June 1957. The original church building then became the church hall. When a new hall was built it was moved to 16 High Street. It was used there until recently, by the local Scout Group. More historical information/photographs of the churches/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 8/10/2017.
