This former Acland Anglican Church building is now privately owned. It has been converted into a wedding chapel at The Woolshed at Jondaryan, a heritage listed historic museum. It was moved to this location in June 2015.
The building was originally erected in the early 1940's for the Anglican Church at Gowrie Little Plain. It was moved to Acland in the 1950s to become the Anglican Church building there. 9see separate entry for Acland) When New Hope mines bought the town for a coal mine, the building was moved to it present location at The Woolshed at Jondaryan.
More historical information/photographs of the former churches/congregations are invited. Photographs uploaded 21/12/2017.
