St Augustine's Anglican Church, Hamilton. This is the second St Augustine's Anglican Church building on this site. A small timber church on the opposite side of Racecourse Road was moved to the site in May 1911, the overhead tramlines having to be cut to facilitate the move. The brick church building was erected in 1919/20 as a memorial of victory in WWI. The first service was held on 17/10/1920, and the building was dedicated in April 1922. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 25/2/2018.
