The St James the Great and St Luke's Anglican Church, Mount Isa is part of the Parish of Mount Isa and the Diocese of North Queensland. The present church building was opened and dedicated on 8/12/1957 by Bishop I Sheville. It replaced an earlier structure, which was moved to Soldier's Hill, and dedicated there as St Oswald's. This building had originally been moved from Selwyn to Mount Isa about 1930. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 2/7/2024.
