The Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Mount Tyson celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2018. The church building was opened on 27/7/1958. The church was opened with an attendance of about 600 at a cost of 3,300 pounds plus furnishings of 750 pounds. A great effort for a small community. The fundraising was held over several years prior to the commencement of the building construction. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
