The Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Mackay is part of the Mackay Anglican Cluster, (also including St Ambrose, North Mackay; St Charles, West Mackay; St Margaret's, Nebo) in the Diocese of North Queensland. The present Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Mackay building was opened in December 1926. The first Holy Trinity Church building was erected on this site in 1870-71, but lasted for only a few years, collapsing in 1878. The second Holy Trinity Church building was a wooden structure erected in 1879. It was detroyed by the 'Mackay Cyclone' of January 1918. A temporary church building occupied the site from 1918 until the present building was opened in December 1926. [Sourced from: https://mackayanglicans.org.au/churches/].
