The former Mount Alford Uniting Church closed many years ago (late 1980s?), and the property is now privately owned. The present building was opened in 1962. It is the second church building on an expanded site, the adjoining block being donated by Mrs W T Beverley in the 1950s, the first a church building originally erected at Roadvale in 1911, and moved to Mount Alford and opened on 17/12/1921 by Mr E T N Bell, MLA.
