The bell and a tower were originally donated to the Presbyterian Church by the Ladies Guild about Frbruary 1913. It was replaced in 1957 by a record and speaker system given as a memorial gift by the Stevenson family. After many years stored under the church hall, and burned in a fire while on loan at the Shire Hall, it was restored and placed in its original position in front of the church, as the gift of Mr Lloyd Waker and his family and friends on 15/12/2007. {This is a very short summary of a full story}. |
