The former York Street Methodist Church, Queenton closed about 1970, and the property was sold. The York Street church had been formed by the amalgamation of the Mossman Park and Yelland Street Methodist Churches in 1920. The Mossman Park church building, opened on 27/1/1907 was relocated in 1920 (from May Street & Natal Downs Road, Mossman Park) to the York Street site for the use of the new church.
