A plaque records: Windsor Road Baptist Church - The Windsor Road Baptist Church, designed by John B Nicholson - was opened 5 July 1888 - It is in Victorian Carpenter Gothic style, 70' x 40' in size - with lancet trefoil windows and rose windows in the gables - and coloured cathedral glass. - It replaced an earlier chapel nearby which was erected in - 1874 and enlarged in 1878 - Rev Thomas Leitch minister 1878 ~ 1929, is honoured - in the Memorial Hall, opened 1 August 1931. - Both buildings are on the Brisbane City Council - Local Heritage Register - Baptist Heritage Queensland, 2017.
