St Philip's Anglican Church - Former

The former St Philip's Anglican Church, Rochedale has closed, and the congregation has relocated to a new church building at 270 Rochedale Road, Rochedale (see separate entry - 4123). The church was in the Parish of Rochedale (since the parish was formed in 1996), and part of the Diocese of Brisbane. The church building was originally erected by the Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was dedicated in 1948. It was used by the Lutherans until 1956, when it was sold to the Anglican Church. Anglican services began in the building in late 1957. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 21/4/2017.
