Ed.] A plaque below the ANZAC window records: +A M D G+ - This window, depicting the front cover of the programme of the first ANZAC Day - commemoration held in Brisbane on 25 April 1916, was dedicated on 16 December - 2018 by the Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall, Archbishop of Brisbane, in the - presence of His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC - Governor of Queensland.... A plaque records: This plaque placed in revered memory of - David John Garland - 1864 ~ 1939 - Honorary Secretary - ANZAC Day Commemoration Committee - 1916 ~ 1939 - Tireless Advocate of the ANZAC Day Public Holiday - Chaplain to the Australian Imperial Forces - 1914 ~ 1919 - Champion of Veterans' Rights - Rector of St Barnabas' Ithaca Red Hill - 1920 ~ 1939. - Canon of the Cathedral of St John the Divine...
