A plaque records: The first service - in this church - dedicated to - St Barnabas - was held on - Sunday June 26 1888. [This is interesting since 26/6/1888 was not a Sunday but a Tuesday. Ed.]

A plaque below the ANZAC window records: +A M D G+ - This window, depicting the front cover of the programme of the first ANZAC Day - commemoration held in Brisbane on 25 April 1916, was dedicated on 16 December - 2018 by the Most Reverend Dr Phillip Aspinall, Archbishop of Brisbane, in the - presence of His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC - Governor of Queensland....
