This former church property is now privately owned.

The present building was erected on land donated by Rev W Moore, for use by the Baptist denomination. It replaced an earlier building erected about 1875. The present building was opened for the Baptist Church on 6/1/1895 with services onducted by Rev J Sneyd in the morning, the Rev R H Roberts in the afternoon, and the Rev W Whale in the evening. (See Brisbane Courier - Monday 7 January 1895, page 6).
