The first building on this site was for a Lutheran Congregation and was erected about 1865.
The present building was erected for a Seventh-Day Adventist Church. It was opened on the 22/6/1902. It is believed this congregation moved to 135 Hume Street, where it still meets.
The building was then used by an Assembly of God congregation from about 1983. No details of when they left, but a Baptist congregation followed leaving the site about 1995.
The building is presently used as the Greek Orthodox Community Hall. (14/7/2017).
More historical information/photographs of the former churches/congregations are invited. Photographs uploaded 9/5/2018.
