St Luke's started as a work of the Nundah Presbyterian Church, with a new church building being opened at Wavell Heights on 11/5/1952. A larger church was built in 1966. Circumstances led to a diminution of the congregations size in the late 1970's. The remaining congregation continued, and today is a vital community.
