Comments
The former The Summit Uniting Church building is now privately owned. It was erected on land donated by Mr Alf Hopgood, and was opened for the Methodist congregation on 18/8/1915. It was dedicated by the Rev R M Wheller, and also regularly used by the Church of England, until their building was opened in 1926. The church held its centenary celebrations in 2015. Sadly it held its final service and closed on 18/11/2017. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 29/12/2017.
