The first temporary church in Yeronga was an old timber house. It was blessed and opened on 19/4/1925.
In 1937, a brick "Church School" building was opened by Archbishop James Duhig, with St Sebastian's Church on the top level and St Sebastian's School on the bottom. In the late 1990's the church became the Chapel for St Sebantisn's School, the congregation locating to St Fabian's in nearby Yeerongpilly, which was opened in 1965, by Archbishop Duhig.
More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 30/12/2017.
