The following markers relate to an earlier Anglican Church at Price, which closed in 1969, with the property sold in 1971 and the building demolished:

  • A foundation stone laid in the ground beside the churchsteps, records: To the Glory of God - and in Honour of - St Andrew - This stone was laid by - William Short on November 21st 1931.
  • A brass plaque on the front wall records: St Andrews Anglican Church Price - Land gifted by Mr William Short at Winulta. Built by - Howard J Were for £529, to be finished by January 31st 1931, - otherwise four shillings a day would be deducted from the price. - Foundation stone laid 21st November 1931 - Dedicated 14th February 1932 - by Bishop Arthur Nutter Thomas - First rector Rev'd D L Redding from the Parish of Maitland - 26 Baptisms recorded and 9 weddings,-  last wedding 10th February 1968 - Closed for 1969 for 2 years, then demolished and the land sold. - The foundation stone from St Andrews lies beneath this plaque.

The St James' Anglican Church, Ardrossan is part of the Anglican Ministry District of Yorke Peninsula and the Diocese of Willochra. The St James church building was erected about 1879 and consecrated in 1895. A vestry and porch were added about 1999. No other details are known.
