The St Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Burra is in the Parish of Burra and the Diocese of Willochra. The first St Mary's was built in 1848 at the cnr Ware Street & Church Street, but has been demolished. The present church building, in Market Square, was opened and dedicated on 18/1/1880. The South Australian Mining Company donated the current church site. The church hall was built in 1893. No other details are known.
