The former St Canice's Catholic Church, Snowtown has closed, and the property has been sold (2020?). The church had been in the Parish of Snowtown and part of the Diocese of  Port Pirie. The present church building was opened on 26/1/1936 by The Most Rev Dr Killian. Mass was celebrated in the old church building, which had been opened on 25/6/1883 by Rev Fr Kennedy, for the last time, prior to the opening of the new building, No other details are known.
