The Port Broughton Uniting Church is part of the Generate Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. It was opened on 25/12/1885. During the period 1870 to 1900 there were Wesleyan, Bible Christian and Primitive Methodist churches in the district. With the organic union of the various Methodist churches in 1902, this church became part of the Methodist Church and in 1977, part of the Uniting Church in Australia. The Soldiers Memorial Hall was opened on 24/5/1922 and the porch was added to the church building in 1934. The church celebrated 130 years of faithful service in 2015. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 8/5/2022 & 2/3/2025.
